and the absolut highlight: you will stay an additional night at the “brockenhotel” which is on the top of the “father brocken”, 3772 feet above seelevel. It is your choice to hike up to the top or to take the train (“hsb”). In the next morning you should not miss the amazing sunrise and after a big breakfast you can decide if you want to walk/hike back to Schierke or if you drive down with the train.
