In Schierke, directly at the foot of the Brocken, you will find the perfect place for a decelerating and actively relaxing vacation in the mountains. Our family-run vacation resort “Zum Wildbach” is located very quietly (no through traffic) at the forest of the beautiful national park Harz. Varied hiking trails and interesting cross-country skiing trails are directly accessible from the house.
You can choose from a total of 20 modern vacation apartments, 2 of which are barrier-free, and three charming double rooms.

Family-friendly and with a heart for animals
There is an outdoor playground as well as a separate children’s playroom for young and old, where children can play and let off steam.
Your pets (e.g. dogs) are also welcome at our vacation resort (on request & for a fee).
Our seasonal mountain bike & e‑bike rental or cross-country ski& sledge rental will make your Harz vacation an experience all year round.
